Anti-Americanism--A Short Criticism

Common sense tells us, in a highly competitive world, people tend to have antagonistic mindset. It is not surprised to see the top performers being listed as a major rival and being used as morale arousing tool, especially when they are proactive and knowing "too much" through their technology superiority. This can be a good thing if it is a healthy competition; a rule-abiding game that includes, e.g. environment, minority and basic human rights protection. It can also promote global multiplicity instead of fascist or quasi-fascist unitarianism.

However, this doesn't entail that we should encourage the "either-or" dualism or dialectics. Exclusivity in ontology is intrinsically flawed. It may drive away sincere, quality, truthful and independent critics or even turn its promoter into a lame duck! Bear in mind, though, this is not something universally applicable.

Besides, the subject of "American" is complex and unstable. Is there a single entity "American" or ontology for one to go against with? For me, "anti-Americanism" is overly sweeping or stereotypical.

Moderated Naturalism

When we call our planet "the mother earth", we seem to impose our very human emotion in it. However, nature in itself is non-personal and flexible to only a certain extent. Although personally I am a environmentalist, I also believe that going over protective or not are both destructive. Where is the balance to strike?
